Preschool Central is a licensed, Christian-based preschool program for children ages 18 months through 5 years old.

Our 5 morning a week, interactive program includes: circle time, free play, large motor games, music and movement, fine motor skills, creative expression, crafts, story time and more. Our new Toddler Program operates Tuesday and Thursday mornings for children 18-30 months.

The Preschool Central team works diligently to offer engaging activities. While we expect the children to have fun, our team also aims to encourage each child’s physical, mental and spiritual growth and development. Knowing that everyone involved with Preschool Central genuinely cares for children and offers a high quality preschool experience has been extremely important for parents.

Our program is not co-op based therefore parents are not required to participate in the daily activities, prepare or deliver snacks nor coordinate any fundraising.

FAQ’s

Do you provide a snack for my child?

Yes, we provide a healthy snack that is usually a fruit or a vegetable along with a grain or dairy product. Some examples of snacks we would offer are bananas & rice crackers, cucumbers & cereal bar and applesauce & veggie straws.

Does my child need to be potty trained prior to him/her starting at Preschool Central?

No, your child does not have to be potty trained to attend our program. We are willing to assist you and your child with potty training whenever you are ready. We use the nursery down the hall from our room to change diapers.

My child has an allergy and/or sensitivity, how do you accommodate for that?

Central Community Church is a nut aware facility and Preschool Central only serves snacks that are nut free. For other allergies, we would avoid serving any food that is an allergy for a child in our program. We, also, do our best to work around sensitivities by offering a similar item or an alternative.

Are you able to accept subsidized children from the Region?

Yes, let us know if you can’t afford our program and we can assist you in finding resources that provide subsidy for families.

How Do I Pay?

Most of our parents pay cash or cheque at the beginning of each month. Some parents opt to pay a few months at a time, write post-dated cheques or use the debit machine in Central’s office.
